You're in the Movies brings the cool factor to kitsch as you live out your dreams of becoming a scream queen, zombie, or kung fu fighter, it's the first and only game of its kind to transport players into a magical world of cinema mixed with the hilarious world of improvisation. Using the Xbox LIVE Vision camera, players' actions are captured and placed into short, riotous films that highlight the unique and often dubious acting talents of friends and family.

Starring in your very own B-movie:You're in the Movies gives players, who can be anything from an action hero to a silent film star, a choice of fun and kitschy scripts in different genres. B-list actors often can't be picky, but now you can feel free to pick a genre, pick a script, and get to work becoming the star you were always meant to be.

Capture the Fun with the Xbox LIVE Vision Camera Xbox 360 brings You're in the Movies to life with the Xbox LIVE Vision camera. This device easily connects to your Xbox 360 and captures players' actions in your very own living room. Your actions are then spliced into short, knee-slapping films that highlight the unique and often far-fetched talents of your friends and family. Each performance is certain to incite riotous laughter, but the best part is you'll never run out of options with You're in the Movie's massive collection of clips, snippets, scripts, and characters. And since you're running the show, no clip will be quite the same and no scene ever ends up on the cutting room floor. Playing You're in the Movies is your time to be the star.

Game Options

You're in the Movies gives players a choice of fun and kitschy scripts -- there's no talk of highbrow writing here -- but a B-movie star like yourself can't be too picky. Your character of choice might be an action hero or silent film star, but it doesn't really matter. Just pick a genre, pick a script, and get on the set, because the director is ready to call "Action!"

Casting Call is another game play option. In this mode, up to four people can try to take the spotlight and play starring roles. During this game play mode a director guides actors through their roles with simple instructions and quick feedback. In fact, each actor will receive a rating based on physical performance. This scoring system creates fun competition and keeps players from getting too lazy.

Director mode. With this game option you can make the movie without having to play the mini-games. In Director mode, you control the script, the shots, the background audio, the narrative overlay, and the film FX. Pretty much everything. The clips are still about 1 minute long. You will not be making feature length films with this game.

User Reviews

I read a LOT of reviews on this product before buying it for my kids this Christmas- nearly all of them were written by serious "gamers" and 20-somethings who viewed this as a potential drinking/party game......none of those people liked this game AT ALL. they became bored with it quickly, the camera wasn't sophisticated enough, on and on. However, when I came to the 1st review on amazon by a family ( who posted an actual video of their game play, thank you very much!!!) I knew right away this was a game my kids would love. ( I think it is pretty fun myself!) The camera does act up once in awhile, but the kids really don't get that upset about it- usually if you mess with the lighting a bit or change the angle you can get it back on track. Every kid in my neighborhood has been over to play it ( even the new WII owners ditched their game time to come play at our house!) We have kids ranging from age 6 to 14 playing this game and they all think it's a blast! So. my review is , great for families

The game is a lot of fun, but has it's minor annoyances. Such as, you have to reset the background every so often because it won't recognize you, and you feel mildly pathetic playing it by yourself. Call your friends over.
The best parts about this game are this: It costs $20. The camera alone casts $30-$40. You're saving $10 and getting a game with it. If you have your friends over or family, it is a boat load of fun, especially when you decide to stop listening to the director and do whatever you want.
You can e-mail the videos to yourself if you have an internet connection.
I'd recommend it for nothing more than $25. It's fun, has some party value to it.

This game was one of the most interesting game announcements we saw at Microsoft's Keynote in the last E3, at least as far as party games go. I even got to try it with some other journalists, and I couldn't help but be curious about what it would be like to play a few mini-games with my friends and then obtain a cool custom movie as a result. Unfortunately, I can't say the game turned out to be a success, but at least it's on the right path, and hopefully the developers will consider fixing its flaws in order to make it shine.

The first good camera game for the Xbox 360 is finally here, now you have a use for your camera other than Video Chat and sending your friends random and weird images rather spontaneously. As the game comes in two flavours, with or without the camera, then if you've been looking for an excuse to pick-up the camera, then this game is most certainly a good reason to take the plunge, especially if you've been wanting to give features such as Video Chat a look-in. You're in the Movies, will easily appeal to kids, but adults are sure to find this game just as entertaining.
The Xbox 360 is attempting to make a bigger push towards the strange phenomenon that is casual gaming. very few games on the platform, especially camera games, succeed in captivating, though YITM does a decent job. Chances are if you're reading this, you're a 'hardcore' gamer, and the thought of 'acting' stupid in front of the camera does little to entertain you. Perhaps seeing your friends and family getting involved, will provide you the different kind of entertainment you never thought you'd get from your Xbox 360. Humiliation is also an odd phenomenon, watching is strangely satisfying, though you may find that you pass caring about that, and want to simply join in on the fun. The gamer in you just may want to prove your dominance in this game too, though be sure to have a towel and some water nearby dear gamer, you'll be needing these with the long acting/exercise sessions ahead.

Street Fighter IV brings the legendary fighting series back to its roots by taking the beloved fighting moves and techniques of the original Street Fighter II, and infusing them with Capcomís latest advancements in next generation technology to create a truly extraordinary experience that will re-introduce the world to the time-honored art of virtual martial arts

Everything that made the legendary Street Fighter II a hit in the arcades, living rooms and dormitories across the globe has been brought back in Street Fighter IV. Players will be able to play their favorite classic characters, such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Guile, along with new characters, including Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte, and Rufus. Characters and environments are rendered in stylized 3D, while the game is played in the classic Street Fighter 2D perspective with additional 3D camera flourishes. Six-button controls for the game return, with a host of new special moves and features integrated into the gameplay system. Street Fighter IV brings a brand new fighting game to fans the world over.

While Street Fighter IV features models and backgrounds rendered in 3D, the gameplay remains on a traditional 2D plane. Producer Yoshinori Ono has stated that he wanted to keep the game closer to Street Fighter II. A new system called "Focus Attacks" ("Saving Attack" for the Japanese version) has been introduced, as well as Ultra moves. The traditional six-button control scheme returns, with new features and special moves integrated into the input system, mixing classic gameplay with additional innovations

Player Reviews

got this on the day of the release. I was a huge Street Fighter II fan back on the Super NES. This game is simply superb. The graphics and gameplay are top notch, and offers endless hours of gameplay. I love the online matches; there is no lag!

I would DEFINITELY get an arcade stick. The PS3's dualshock controller is cumbersome to use (the heavy punch and kick are set to R2 and R3). I just ordered a Hori Real Arcade Pro stick; it has a Sanwa stick. I also ordered Sanwa buttons separately and will replace the Hori buttons. Get a good stick ASAP; they are selling out quickly.

I have both system and i bought both versions of streetfighter 4, but first i have to say i bought both systems because i love video games and i try not to sound or be bias in anyway for the videogame community.Ok let's start.. the first thing i noticed between the PS3 and the 360 is the PS3 loading time in between fights is about 10 to 11 seconds(I based the loading time on counting the blinking "Player 2" sign on the upper right corner) it maybe sounding nit picking but 10 to 11 seconds for a fighting game(especially streetfighter) is kind of long(i didn't say "way" long). im not a fanboy and im trying to be unbias as possible. i am just trying to inform the game community about the differences between the PS3 and the 360 streetfighter 4 versions. 360 loading time (in comparison to the PS3) is about half the time 5 to 6 seconds faster. good luck gamers i hope my review helps others (and like me who has both systems).

In my opinion, this is not only the best Street Fighter game but it is perhaps the best Capcom fighting game ever made and that is saying a lot because Capcom has probably made more fighting games than any other video game company (SNK is an exception). I think that this game is better than Street Fighter 2 because it improves on it in every way. It has 3D backgrounds and characters and 2D gameplay. You even have lots of spoken character diologue which is missing from any other street fighter game that I've ever played. I like the addition of EX Special moves which are actually pretty easy to pull off. Super combos are nothing new but the Ultra combos look very cool and powerful; this is one of the greatest new features that the game offers. The many different game modes are interesting, especially the versus mode. Versus Mode is a one player friendly mode because you don't need two people to play the mode. You can actually pick who you want to fight against at any time just like in Soul Calibur 4 versus mode. This is great for when you get tired of playing the arcade mode, don't have anybody to play with, or simply don't want to play it because of the final boss Seth. He can become a major headache and he is very cheap but still an interesting boss. He actually gets a lot harder if you manage to beat him in a round. In the next round after you beat him he has a whole new more powerful moves list so anybody playing against him better be careful. The Trial mode can also be hard because many of the moves that you have to do are hard to pull off with the standard controller. Custom configuration is a great thing that was added to this game and it makes some moves easier to do. Street Fighter 3, Street Fighter Alpha games, Marvel vs. Capcom games and Capcom vs. SNK games have nothing on SF4 either. This is defenantly one of the best fighting games of the current consoles

the game looks great the charaters are all georgous the facial expression they make when the other fighter does a super combo is classic. online and battle points really make you want to step your skills up and be the best. the story lines could have been a bit better but its got such solid gameplay i dont think about it much. some people may think the theme song gets annoying but i like it. they say 2d fighting games as a genre was dying people love beat em up fighting games we grew up with these but if your gonna pay 60 bucks for a fighting game it needs to be of this caliber. i actually got that same warm fuzzy feeling i got while playing street fighter 2 if you dont have this game yet you need to get it its an addictive awsome game.

Player Reviews

After playing it today for first time I instantly reached the conclusion that Guitar Hero World Tour is by far and away the best rhythm game available on the market today, was worth the wait, Guitar Hero is way better than Rock Band. Guitar Hero delivers perfectly, in my opinion it has everything I wanted out of a guitar rhythm game: great peripherals and fun-to-play music. Jamming with Ozzy Osbourne was amazing. In general sound quality and very large and song choice is second-to-none. New and improved customizable avatar was a nice addition. Overall Guitar Hero also has superb game play options co-op, face-off, battles, and several online modes.

For starters I'm not a tweener, teenager, gen-xer or whatever. I'm a boomer. An over 50 boomer. And I LOVE this game. I never bought a game system prior to the wii and I was hooked playing with my nephews on their Rock Band 1. I'm also a musician (fun only) but on piano and string instruments. So I was impressed by the drum set in particular. I also loved that the entire group from age 6 to 50+ was able to play the same game at the same time (we had 4 controllers).

While the drum set in RB1 was a good start (and a GREAT idea) it had its issues. I pre-ordered GHWT based mostly on the new drum kit. I really like the much improved set in GHWT and to me it's more like actual 'playing' than the guitars. I got rid of the sticks right away too. Might as well have been a pencil. My teenaged son and I enjoy playing together which is rare these days I think it's funny that he can't understand why I get sick of hearing Bon Jovi all the time (I LIVED through overplayed songs already tyvm, lol) As far as unlocking... that's my son's job.

RB2 for wii isn't out yet but I love all things music so we'll probably get it. I wish it would be compabitle with GHWT. Oh well. And I'm REALLY looking forward to the Beatles version. I'm voting for some kind of 'oldsters' version. Beatles, more Stones, Dylan, Elvis, even Cash! I'm the one with the credit card

One final note - Willie Nelson On the Road Again - drum part.. mm.. not so much. I can practice continuous, monotonous drumming without a song.

I own all the Guitar Heros on Wii and this one is my favorite! I can play it for hours. I love the new drum set and the new guitar. The only thing I would complain about is the fact that you have to sing really close to the microphone to hear your own voice but other than that I love this game!

First off the game is great to play. It's fun for the whole family. Unfortunately they turned out a product before it was ready. There are numerous reviews out there that mention the drum problem. I just got my GHWT set yesterday and the game is near unplayable due to sensitivity problems with the yellow cymbal hat. Also the kit keeps sinking as the locking mechanism that goes between the legs and the head kit does not lock it in place tight enough. Like I said it's a great game but the product is not up to snuff. Red Octane is going to send me the MIDI cable for free to adjust the sensitivity but this should never happen in the first place. This is another classic example of rushing out a product with poor quality control and insufficient testing. I would wait until they fix their problems before you buy.

Mario Kart Wii feels highly reactionary, as if Nintendo willfully sought to dumb down the driving mechanics in order to even the playing field for the masses. Bundling the game with the plastic Wii Wheel contraption reinforces that commitment to democratizing gameplay: Sure, nongamers will get a kick out of careening around the course via tilt controls and gesticulations, but you'll find yourself haphazardly oversteering. The wheel isn't necessarily your enemy, though. It's solidly constructed and comfortable; players who stick with its motion-controlled driving for a few races will eventually acclimate to it. But of the game's four control options, the Wii Remote-and-Nunchuk combo clearly works the best: It's the only way to get both familiar analog stick steering and the freedom to easily put the crucial new trick system to use with the Wii-mote. Plus, this new split control setup feels perfectly suited for the newly added motorcycles, allowing you to make tight turns while launching weapons and landing tricks with ease.

Game Features:

The Wii Wheel transforms the Wii Remote™ controller into a steering wheel that feels natural in anyone's hands, while the Wii Remote and Nunchuk™ controller offer a classic control style for the Mario Kart veteran. In either configuration, players can perform speed-boosting tricks with a shake of the Wii Remote.

Players can race as their favorite Nintendo character, or even as themselves! Mario Kart Wii lets players race with their personalized Mii™ characters. And racers will see other Mii characters they have created cheering from the sidelines on some race courses.

Players can compete with up to three friends in their living room. Or challenge up to 11 opponents via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection in the biggest Mario Kart race yet. All tracks and modes of play are available via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, and players can visit the Mario Kart Channel to compete in tournaments, check rankings, see when their friends are playing and download ghost data.

Cruise new tracks and arenas or tour classic courses from Super Mario Kart™, Mario Kart® 64, Mario Kart®: Super Circuit™, Mario Kart®: Double Dash!!™ and Mario Kart® DS. Tired of riding on four wheels? Bust out one of the new motorbikes for special tricks and techniques.

Characters

Nintendo favorites Mario™, Luigi™, Peach™, Yoshi®, Donkey Kong®, Wario™, Bowser™ and Toad™, plus a host of new faces-including your own! Get into the game and put your Mii™ character behind the wheel.

Special Powers/Weapons/Moves/Features

Whether racing around an obstacle-filled track or battling in an arena, drifting and tossing items are the keys to Mario Kart success. Players can shake the Wii Remote while launching off a ramp to pull off a trick that will temporarily boost their speed. When riding a bike, players can gain additional speed by flicking the Wii Remote up and popping a wheelie

Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection:

Keeping in the tradition of Mario Kart, Nintendo has pushed multiplayer racingeven further utilizing the Wii's built in Wi-Fi Connection. There are two options for races and battles over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection: up to 12 people via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or up to 10 people via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection with two people playing locally.

More Reviews:

Undoubtingly, Nintendo has really showed more muscle within their games for the Wii this past year. With games that really stretched beyond the imagination for fans like Super Mario Galaxy, which re-defined Mario alone in adventures, and the battle smashing action of Super Smash Brothers Brawl that dominated fans hearts all around the worls, Nintendo really shows what it takes to make great video games. But, that also can be said with the Mario Kart series, which finally makes it debut on the Wii. But, following the innovation that Mario Kart DS had from the Nintendo DS wasn't so easy, largely because it was the first DS handheld title to use the Wi-Fi online gaming to an outrageous excitement for gamers all around the world. Now, it is time for the Wii to take that on and race to the checkered flag.

Mario Kart Wii for the Nintendo Wii, brings in all that fast-paced excitement racers have wanted and even more. The game adds a whole lot of new and exciting features to use. You can now race as many as 12 racers online through the online gaming, and bring the action over the top, and use that skill and excitement on over 40 different tracks: 10 battle tracks and 32 exciting race tracks that are both new and featured from the earlier Mario Kart games like D.K. Jungle Highway and Sherbet Land from Mario Kart 64. The new tracks are also exciting that will have you racing and bouncing on top of mushrooms from the all-new Mushroom Gorge, and have you crusing the shopping malls and racing down fligts of escaltors with the brand new Coconut Mall course, or racing across the tree trunks of the new Maple Leaf Highway. Every single track is great for beginners and die hard Mario Kart fans of all ages.

The gameplay also has a few new surprises, as you not just rave in karts, you also get to race on motorbikes too, bringing more action and variety to each of the players delight. There are also a few new power-ups here too including the Mega Mushroom, from the DS game New Super Mario Brothers, which makes your racer giant-sized, so you can squash your opponents on your way to the checkered flag, and the lightning cloud which shrinks you down to a tiny racer, so you squeeze underneath your opponents and take them by surprise. There also are a few new characters here to unlock in the game as well. You can choose to race with the classics like Mario, Yoshi, Bowser and Luigi, and 6 hidden characters to unlock and master like Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy, Funky Kong and Diddy Kong from Donkey Kong Barrel Blast and even Bowser Bones (the skeleton Bowser boss from New Super Mario Brothers.)

Mario Kart Wii has the potential to be a great game, but because of two very ill-conceived aspects, is virtually unplayable and unenjoyable.

Unbalanced gameplay is what prevents me from rating this higher than one star. One item in particular is the blue shell, first introduced in the Nintendo 64 Mario Kart, then reformulated in the Gamecube Double Dash!! iteration to its present form, is an item that, when released, flies over all players to bomb the one in first place. When in first place, you cannot defend yourself against it unless you have in your possession a mushroom you use at the exact moment, but receiving a mushroom in first place is extremely rare. If this sounds like punishing good players, then you would be right. What makes this especially egregious is that the item is used by the computer in 1-player mode, particularly as the lone human player is nearing the finish line after being in first place for the majority of the race.

The other aspect that seems ill-conceived is the driver ranking, ranging from C, B, A, *, **, ***. This allegedly rates your driving skill. What is ridiculous is that to get a ***, the highest ranking, you must be in first place the vast majority of the races, win every race, and avoid wiping out on items. Some races I have received a rank of ** for winning every race but one with huge leads over the rest of the pack. Other times, I have received a rank of C, despite winning every race, including several where I led the race, only to go from first to last in the final lap due to a blue shell and other unavoidable items randomly generated by the computer. In my opinion, the greater "driving skill" and rank comes from those who are so good they can win a race despite being "sent to the back" with less than half a lap to go.

Overall, the game has great courses (for the most part), great character roster, and a great variety of karts and bikes. On paper, this looks like a great game.

But video games should be fun, and when one is not fun because the computer "cheats," I cannot rank it highly.

Six years after the events in Resident Evil 2, the Umbrella Company is ruined. When the T-Virus was unleashed in Raccoon City, the US government nuked the location and then ended all relationships with Umbrella. Before too long, the corporation's stock price dropped and it retreated into obscurity. In the same time, hero Leon S. Kennedy began a career with the government, eventually becoming a highly trained agent. Resident Evil 4 begins as Kennedy is dispatched on a top-secret mission to find and safely return the President's kidnapped daughter from a remote location in Europe.

There are no pre-rendered sequences in Resident Evil 4, but you wouldn't know it when watching the opening cinematic, which quickly and conveniently brings you up-to-date on the situation. Always a stickler for presentation, Capcom has really outdone itself with this game, going the extra mile to deliver you truly gorgeous, beautifully choreographed cut-scenes that drive the story. What's more, because these sequences all use the game engine, they're seamless.

Resident Evil 4 doesn't waste any time getting started. Only a minute after Leon enters a dilapidated cabin, the hero finds himself attacked by a menacing figure with an axe and then trapped inside by villagers who seem focused only on one goal: his death. The air is thick with urgency and despair, both of which are noticeably amplified over previous Resident Evil games. After some consideration, and much more play time, we came to realize the reason for this: more than any other entry in this series, this is true survival horror. Preceding Evil games have moved slower, enabling you to oftentimes set your own pace. In Resident Evil 4, you're at the mercy of your attackers, and make no mistake: you are consistently under attack and on the run for your very life. Because of this truth, the game is heart-thumpingly frightening and this state of fear and panic is continued for great lengths of time. When you finally do escape, if you're so lucky, you will breath a sigh of relief and savor your accomplishment.

Traditionalists, however, will not be left in the dark. Or, actually, they will. Although the game moves at a quicker, frenzied pace as Leon runs through the region while blasting villagers, there are still some good old-fashioned scares to be found and just as satisfying as before, if not more so. Some enemies lurch forward from blackened hallways, moaning and chanting. Others kick open doors and come streaming in. And we don't want to give away any spoilers, but rest assured that the game features the franchise's widest selection of creatures, all of them amazing and twisted in their own unique ways. In one mid-game area, Leon finds himself trapped in a hedge maze and realizes that he's not alone: rabid, four-legged beasts are on the prowl, and these monstrosities are definitely not man's best friend. The old-school scare factor is magnified more due to new mission styles that put you in control of the weaponless Ashley, daughter of the President. Armed only with a flashlight, the nearly helpless girl must slink by robed enemies and rapidly raise and lower gateways before her attackers can catch her. Playing through levels like these, it's impossible not to notice just how far Capcom has come, and why it continues to lead the way when it comes to survival horror.

Bringing both gameplay types together is a control scheme that for the most part remains disappointingly unchanged from previous Resident Evil games. Kennedy is manipulated minus true analog control. Push the analog stick and he walks. Hold the B button down and he runs. Same as it ever was. Also, in our play experience with the game it became abundantly clear that many of the battles would have benefited from a dodge or strafe function, which Capcom has chosen not to include. And yet, despite all of this, the process of controlling Leon is far improved thanks to a combination of a flexible new camera that shoots the action from behind the character's back and a new action button that enables context-sensitive functionality.

When Kennedy nears certain objects or interacts with some enemies, an indicator on-screen will let you know that you can tap the action button or a combination of buttons to either execute an action or evade an attack. A seemingly simple addition, this new mechanic actually goes a long way to enhancing both the overall sense of freedom that you have as you explore and Leon's arsenal of moves. Using the action button, Leon can jump off the rooftops of structures, dive through windows, fend off enemies, kick over groups of foes, dodge thrown objects and moving opponents, and more. He can also perform context-sensitive movements, such as riding in a lift or mine cart. The action system is also well integrated into many of the ferocious boss battles in Resident Evil 4.

And speak of the devil, we're not entirely sure how Capcom pulled it off, but the boss characters and fights are some of the most varied and all-around engaging in any action-adventure to date. Not only are the character designs unequaled in their originality and detail -- these beasts and villains come to life with a level of realism never before seen on Nintendo's console -- but they are just as fun to challenge as they are visually appealing. There is a huge salamander that lives underneath a lake. The horrible thing thrusts upward from the water to reveal protruding fangs and a series of wiggling worms inside its mouth. The creature is also roughly five times the size of Leon's boat! There is an ogre-like monster known only as El Gigante by the locals and the putrid mutant looks as though he were borrowed directly from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings movies. And these two represent only a small handful of the evil things that lie in wait. As you journey deeper into the game and square off against more humongous bosses, you'll begin to learn that these entities -- just like the villagers -- are not exactly as they seem. You'll find yourself wondering what could possibly be more grandiose and spectacular than the last boss, and then you'll be amazed when Capcom tops itself, again and again. More impressive still, each boss requires a different attack strategy to fend off. There's much more to killing these enemies than pointing and shooting. You'll need to examine the fight environments and use them to your benefit, while searching for weaknesses in each character's attack. Extremely well done.

Killzone 2 is the most stunning game of this generation. We all know how good the game looks, but to really appreciate it you have to actually play it. It's not just that the game is pretty, but rather how much detail is in every single area of the game. Guerilla really made Helgahn feel like a real place, and this is Killzone 2's main draw. The game immerses you with its life like guns and levels all the while pummeling you with the best enemy AI that a FPS has ever seen. The Helghast are some smart S.O.B's, Killzone 2 is not a run and gun shooter. The AI will punish players that attempt to play the game by normal FPS standards, rather Killzone 2 seeks to be a slow plodding game where you move cover to cover taking out wave after wave of enemy. However these mechanics never feel forced. The level design begs for creative play by allowing multiple approaches to any one battle. Do you take the high ground and gain position. Or do you simply advance by tactically taking out enemies while progressing forward. Its these type of moments that make the game such a blast to play. Weapons in the game are the standard FPS fair but with some kick to them. The weight of the guns and the characters really shines in the game. The game doesn't really introduce any new gameplay mechanics that we haven't seen before in other FPS game but this is not a bad thing. It borrows from all the great games before it but does them all with perfection. It follows a tried and true format and still manages to hold its own.

As for the multiplayer, it is safe to say that Killzone 2 boasts the PS3's absolute best online experience. Graphically things never take a dip. Gameplay wise you are removed of your ability to take cover. Which speeds things up and at first glance turns the game into more of a traditional FPS. However the way the matches work is a stroke of pure genius. Players are grouped into squads of up to 16 people. Matches are broken down into six different game types that switch at random upon completion of the mission objective or the round timer counting all the way down. What this does is basically force co-operative play with team mates, while making the game extremely chaotic and visceral. Leveling up has been a point of concern for some reviewers but not I. Basically you have to put in the time if you want to level up. Points given at the end of each match are not they are not generous with the points that are dished out. Special abilities must be unlocked through the badge system. Badges enable special abilities (perks) and are gained by earning ribbons or completing certain tasks through online play. For example getting 10 Kills in a match. You must earn multiple ribbons of the same type to acquire the badge. While it does take some time it is extremely rewarding and satisfying to see your self ranking up. The system really makes you feel as if you earned it. One of the best part's of Killzone 2's Warzone is the ability to start clans and enter as well as set-up tournaments. Killzone 2's online component is really a huge step forward for PSN.

The graphics might be incredible and the story might be functional, but without great gameplay, this wouldn't be the killer game that the PS3 needs. Thankfully, Killzone 2 delivers this in spades. The shooting and the feel of the weapons is very solid and often reminded me of Call of Duty 4, which is no bad thing at all. Where this game really differentiates itself from the FPS crowd is with its movement controls.

Moving in Killzone 2 is designed to convey to the player the sense of being weighed down by a large amount of military gear. Turning in particular takes a lot of getting used to, because you turn faster the longer you hold the stick in a direction, rather than the further you push it (which is the FPS norm). It's a very strange feeling at first, but you'll gradually get used to it and you'll find that it controls just fine. There's also an interesting first person cover system where you remain in first person view while in cover, unlike other FPS titles which have used a third person camera for cover, such as Rainbow Six Vegas and Quantum of Solace. Like many things in the game it's uncomfortable to control at first but works brilliantly once you adapt to it.

In the campaign the level design is of an extremely high quality and there's enough variety with the enemies and weapons that the pacing doesn't become awkward. Many of the weapons are very traditional, such as the standard assault rifle with red-dot sight, shotgun and rocket launcher. Killzone 2 certainly has some other outstanding tools of death though, like the Boltgun which can pin enemies to walls (and then explode!), the sniper rifle which requires you to hold the six-axis still to steady your aim and the über-powerful Lightning Gun.

For all the steps forward that Killzone 2 takes in enemy AI its a shame that you're squad mates could not be a little smarter. It's not that they are dumb. They actually help out a great deal. However they can often times get in the way when running through narrow corridors. Also some of them have a tendency to just run out into a new area with guns blazing only to get hurt. I cannot tell you how many times I had to save Garza's ass because he wanted to be a super hero. Most of the time its laughable but sometime it does get a little annoying.

The sound is great. The guns sound meaty, the explosions may make you jump and everything is generally good-sounding. The screams of the Helghast as you kill them is particularly disturbing, and a great touch. Voice acting is, for the most part, solid. There’s a lot of swearing but it conveys realism more than tourettes. There is a particular part that stuck out blatantly - it involves a cutscene that was clearly intended to be emotional and some punching. The sound really let it down, as well as the voice-acting getting a bit sketchy, too, making the whole cutscene come off as more awkward than anything else. Other than that, though, everything is good

Loading in the game is also a small problem. While loading never takes more than three seconds, it still causes hiccups in the game. It takes you out of the experience. This really is a minor complaint, but a valid one none the less. It just seems that the game would have benefited more from a hard-drive install.

Finally the story is a little on the weak side. My biggest complaint about the entire Killzone series is that they have created these really cool character and universe, but in every game there is really nothing that advances the story beyond the current games setting. The Helghast are an intriguing cool looking foe. It's a shame we can't find out more about them.

So you've played Halo 2 and think its great and couldn't get better. Well we just want to tell you that you were wrong. You might have thought it couldn't get better, but it does. Halo 3 is amazing. Halo 3 goes back to Master Chief speeding towards Earth while Cortana is in the Graveminds clutches. Master Chief just destroyed the second Halo and the Elites have made an alliance with the humans. The Covenant have now discovered Earth and are digging in the sands of Africa to find what they think is a forerunner's installation. This is the only thing that is sparing the humans but if they find what they are looking, all life in the galaxy will die in one big explosion. To make matters worse the flood have also landed on Earth infecting all those in there way.

The PROS of Halo 3

-great games under matchmaking

-campaign is a thriller; leaves a questionable ending

-new game features called Forge and Theatre; both are great new editions

-offers great ways to keep in touch with friends

- unlike in Halo 2, Halo 3's campaign allows up to 4 people over xbox live (only 2 on an xbox)

The CONS of Halo 3

In Matchmaking it takes a while for a game to start(around 2 minutes.)

-For those who don't like stories that don't really have an ending, don't play the campaign.

Is Halo 3 better than Halo 2?

Well I think if you went around asking you will get almost 100% yes's. Halo 3 offers a whole new matchmaking experience. It offers new maps, guns, and vehicles. Another new thing in Halo 3 is equipment. Equipment adds a whole new aspect to matchmaking. Think about this; when you just killed someone and are low on health and you notice an enemy about to shoot you. Well you just through down a bubble shield and veesto, you regain your health and are able to go for another kill. Also while in Matchmaking you can get rankings. If you win games you get experience and you will eventually get your rank up. I think the campaign is much better also. The levels have a lot of variety and have a great story line.

I think the campaign is much better also. The levels have a lot of variety and have a great story line. The cut scenes are much shorter now but also are much, much better. The equipment changes the campaign game play too. You will notice brutes throwing down bubble shields protecting themselves and any grunts around them. Another new aspect in the Halo 3 Campaign is skulls. Now in many of the level you will have the ability to find hidden skulls. These skulls unlock different stuff in the game. When you collect all the skulls you unlock a new armor type that looks sweet.

The Forge aspect of Halo 3 is another improvement over Halo 2. You can edit the map while your in the game. You can add anything. You can also create maps which is great. It makes great games which are very enjoyable and anything can happen.

Another thing Halo 3 has over Halo 2 is theatre. Theatre is the best thing, in my opinion, that Bungie has added. You can record video clips of that no scope sniper shot off the back of a mongoose. You could take screen shots of that great explosion of you owning a noob. You can share your video clips and screen shots with your friends.

All in all I think that Halo 3 is a must for any gamers library. It is a very high quality game with great game play. You can have blowouts or really close games. With even more fun you can invite your friends, smack talk the enemy before the game, and if you win you rub it in their face, if you lose you quickly quit back to the lobby page. So do yourself a favor and buy this game...you'll be helping yourself.

Fable 2 provides players with a truly immersive experience where a virtually limitless number of choices can be made, all of which have their own consequences, making each game unique. When you start the game, you choose either to play the role of a boy or girl, and depending on your choices, the hero will grow up to be tall or short, good or evil. Players can get married and have children; female player characters will become pregnant, which will then be reflected by their physical appearance.

Early in the game, players are presented with a stray dog for a best friend, who will need to be fed and loved, and will accompany the player throughout his or her life. Depending on the player, the dog will change appearance and assist him or her in various ways, such as alerting of impending dangers and attacking enemies.

Players inhabit the world of Albion and are free to roam the land to as they please. Players can use different expressions to communicate with others, such as taunting and laughing, and even belching or farting.

As the players grow, so does Albion, reflecting the choices that were made earlier in the game. Every house, hut, castle, and dungeon can be purchased if the player wishes. Players can buy up all the land in a town and can become mayor, king, and even emperor of the entire land.

Fable 2 presents a dynamic and free-roaming world that doesn't demand a player to take any one set path. At the same time, players seeking a plot line will find an epic story and quest that they can follow if they wish, along with many side adventures.

These days we are constantly hearing about the health problems America and other countries are experiencing. Obesity is also climbing the scales, and you understand that overall health and fitness depends highly on regular exercise. But, your problem is that you can not afford the time for gym exercises. Now, believe it or not, the Nintendo Wii Fit game, a video game, can help you achieve your wellness, all in the comfort of your home.

Now everyone knows that it is always easier to plan something than actually doing it. If you just do not feel comfortable having to go to the gym to work out, but still want to exercise, then you should consider getting the newest in line for the Nintendo Wii gaming system: Nintendo Wii Fit. This video game was developed mainly to make workouts more enjoyable rather than boring and "hard". It is especially great for a family get-together for good health and better quality of life. Anyone can do it, whether you are just starting out with exercise or more advanced. It is very interactive and can be used as a learning tool as well. It helps you through planning an exercise regimen, records your progress and teaches you the appropriate exercise methods to be used.

To take full advantage of Nintendo Wii Fit, all you have to do is position yourself on its balance board. The Wii Fit balance board identifies your body motions and weight allocation and relays data on to the TV screen. With the Wii Fit, you have lots of options, including yoga, strength training and more active cardiovascular exercises, which you can do in your very own home.

As described earlier, this video game is designed so that each player fits the exercise routine provided on a more personal level. It comes with a technology that enables you to calculate your BMI and fitness age. You can even document exercises done based on Wii Fit to precisely calculate your progress in overall physical health.

Although the Nintendo Wii Fit is primarily created to be a fitness and learning system, it is also something that people can enjoy. Yes, with some simple customization, you can exercise yourself while also engaging in other Nintendo Wii Games the same time.

If you are pumped up to do some regular, physical activity and loads of entertainment, then grab the latest Nintendo Wii Fit game. You can find in it everything you will ever need to enhance your lifestyle and create some balance! With the Wii Fit, exercising will never be the same again.

Wii Fit is all about balance

Your center of balance, the point between your left and right sides when you are standing upright, has a lot to do with your health. Those without an even center of balance will be unnaturally compensating for this imbalance, which causes their posture to become misaligned, increasing the possibility of putting unnecessary strain on their body. Wii Fit can help you learn more about your balance, and give you tips on how to improve it.

Wii Progress Charts - Tracking your fitness progress

Check your daily progress in Wii Fit with easy-to-understand charts and graphs. The orange line you see in the center of the graph represents your BMI the first time you checked it. From then on, it's easy to tell how you've done since you started using Wii Fit. You can also set goals, check your Wii Fit Age, and even enter exercise time you've done outside of Wii Fit.

A few years ago, the developers at Electronic Arts (EA for short) attained exclusive rights to the NFL license to produce the already widely popular Madden video game series. This meant that no other video game developer out there, could put out a video game with NFL players, names and likenesses in their video games! By attaining this exclusive license, EA effectively knocked out the competition in the football video game market. In essence, Madden is the only football game with the names and likenesses of real NFL players. To many in the video game industry, this was a very smart and lucrative deal for EA. For the Maddenites out there, myself included, we were skeptical. The John Madden franchise only had one real competitor, and they were the developers at Visual Concepts.

Visual Concepts are the brainchild of the 2k series of sports games that include, baseball, hockey, college football and of course, the NFL. In the 2005-06 season of NFL football, the developers at Visual Concepts did something unheard of in video games. They sold their popular NFL2k5 football series for 20 bucks! The gaming community had mixed reviews, and the game was really good. For 20 bucks you can beat it! I was surprised when I found out! I don't know if they were trying to make a statement about pricing in video games, but coincidentally the following year, the NFL gave the people at EA the exclusive rights to the NFL license in video games. (I personally think that Visual Concepts pissed off the NFL with the price of their game.)

The first year of the exclusive license, in my opinion, wasn't so great. Madden '05 was released with the same hype as the other Madden's. To the true Maddenites out there, it was just okay, nothing special. With the ever growing influence of the Xbox console system, Madden '06 slowly started to become known as the game to play on XBOX. This was a shift from the earlier years of Madden. True Maddenites know that Madden was played best on the PS2! The XBOX 360 changed all that with Madden '07 and '08. The yearly Madden tournament was no longer played on PS2, the XBOX 360 was the new home of MADDEN. Maddenites were okay with this shift, it took some time to get used to the Xbox 360 joystick, but as long as we could play the game, we could care less. However , we were still waiting for that Madden that was gonna us say WOW! Madden '09 is that game!!!

First of all, Madden '09 is the best graphically it has ever been. Madden has always been good graphically, but '09 has some of the best. Gone are the stiff, statuesque player models from Madden '07 and '08. My main complaint on Madden'07 and '08 were the stiff player models. The player models didn't move like NFL players. They moved like statues. It seemed like the developers concentrated more on the wrinkles in the player uniforms and the player arms. They fixed these problems in '09 and made the player models look and move more realistic.

In the beginning of Madden '09 there is a new feature called the Madden IQ test. What the test does is measure you on how well do in the four main areas of the game: rushing, passing, rush defense and pass defense. from this point in the game, your Madden IQ is used in conjunction with another new feature, the Madden My Skill feature. The My Skill feature adjusts the computer difficulty of the game as you play! So eventually you will get to play against the computer on the coveted All-Madden level! One of my favorite features of the game is the EA Sports Backtrack. This feature shows you the mistakes that you have made during the game. If you throw and interception, it shows you who was open. If you are blitzed and sacked, it shows you where you should have been looking, instead of down the throat of the blitzing linebacker! This is a tool that both the rookie and veteran Maddenite can benefit from.

All in all, I am very impressed! This is the game that Maddenites everywhere have been waiting for! You will not be disappointed! Some games are worth the wait. Madden '09 is that game!
